Women are 71% more likely to be injured in a car crash and 17% more likely to die. Are the problems in the driver or maybe in the car? The seat belt that we all use in our cars have more then 100 years. It all started in 1903 with a two-pointed seat belt before the three-point that we all know and use. Well, one thing we don’t know is that this belt was invented thinking about men’s bodies. Although we can see the belt is adaptable, it doesn’t fit in the same way for a woman’s body. And it’s not about comfort, it’s about safety. After 64 years, Volvo presents the evolution of the seat belt. A seat belt thought for all.
