Context: Every month, the most popular influencers receive dozens of boxes and press kits. However, after unboxing and recording videos, many of these packages meet a less than glamorous fate: the trash. Challenge: How can we inspire these influencers to donate the boxes and press kits they no longer need? Idea: Flipping a problem into a solution, IKEA is set to release a special edition of furniture crafted from materials that influencers were about to discard. Each unique piece will reflect the style and personality of the influencer who donated the materials. To spread the word, our influencers will host livestream events to showcase and auction off their signature pieces, with all proceeds going to an environmental cause they personally champion. This initiative not only turns waste into wonder but also leverages the power of influencers to spark conversations about the future.
